Wood Collection Tiles

The Warmth of Timber. The Practicality of Tile.

Wood-look tiles recreate the visual character of natural timber through printed grain, tonal variation and plank-inspired formats, while retaining the dimensional stability and easy-care qualities expected from ceramic or porcelain surfaces.

Understanding Wood-Look Tile

A timber aesthetic created in ceramic or porcelain.

Wood collection tiles are not natural timber boards. They are fired tile products whose surfaces are designed to reproduce wood grain, knots, colour movement and plank proportions. The final suitability still depends on the specific tile body, finish, rating and installation system.

Visual Character

Designed to Resemble Natural Wood

High-definition surface printing allows each tile to carry grain, shade variation and timber-inspired detail. Collections may range from pale Scandinavian tones to warm oak, walnut and weathered wood effects.

For a more natural result, review the number of graphic variations and mix tiles from different boxes during installation.
Material Performance

The Structure and Care of Tile

Because the product is ceramic or porcelain rather than timber, it does not require sanding, varnishing or routine timber refinishing. Cleaning and technical performance should follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the selected product.

Use only products rated for the intended floor, wall, wet-area, exterior or commercial application.
Important: wood-look appearance does not determine technical suitability. Confirm slip resistance, water absorption, abrasion or traffic rating, substrate preparation and installation materials for the exact tile selected.
Choose the Wood Character

From quiet grain to expressive timber movement.

The collection can support very different interiors depending on colour, grain contrast, plank proportion and laying pattern. Compare full-size samples together rather than judging a single tile in isolation.

Weathered & Rustic

Select by Space

Use the timber look where the product is properly specified.

Wood-look tile can create visual continuity across residential and commercial interiors, but the exact product must be selected for traffic, moisture, cleaning, slip resistance and exposure conditions.

Living Areas

Create the warmth of timber in living rooms, dining spaces and open-plan interiors without introducing a separate wood maintenance system.

Confirm floor rating and tonal variation

Kitchens

Extend the timber aesthetic into kitchens with a surface that can be cleaned according to tile-care guidance.

Bathrooms & Wet Zones

Use only products and finishes specifically approved for the relevant wet wall or floor location.

Design Beyond Colour

Plank size and laying pattern shape the final floor.

A convincing wood-look installation depends on more than choosing a grain. Tile length, width, edge treatment, grout colour, pattern and the flatness of both tile and substrate all influence the finished result.

P

Plank Proportion

Longer and narrower formats strengthen the timber-board impression, while shorter formats create a more active rhythm.

G

Graphic Variation

A broader mix of printed faces reduces obvious repetition and produces a more natural spread of grain.

L

Laying Pattern

Straight, staggered and herringbone layouts create different visual movement and may have different installation requirements.

J

Joint & Grout

A carefully selected grout tone and joint width can either blend the planks together or emphasise each individual tile.
